Hand-carved in Finnish Lapland from birch burl, Lohi is a hollow spoon that is both elegant and functional. It can be used as a classic spoon or for measuring coffee thanks to its generous and deep shape.
Its warm tint matches perfectly with kuksas, as it is made from the same traditional wood. The wood has been naturally hardened with saltwater and coffee, according to ancestral Lappish expertise.
A reindeer is engraved on the top of the handle, and a reindeer leather strap allows the spoon to be easily attached to a kuksa or a bag.

This cutlery is made in the Far North, north of Finnish Lapland.

To keep this cutlery in good condition, with its beautiful color and shine, you should maintain it with oil or a protective wax. You can buy grapeseed oil in our store, as well as a protective wax that we make in-house.

We recommend washing this cutlery before using it. To wash it, use lukewarm, not hot, water and a natural, chemical-free soap. Once the cutlery has been washed, dry it immediately with a cloth; do not leave it to dry on its own, as the wood will absorb all the water.
