Product Description

Our Kuukkeli kuksa is available in two variants: a light-colored version and a darker version. The dark kuksa obtains its distinctive shade after being immersed in coffee, giving it a beautiful dark brown color. In contrast, light kuksa retains the natural color of the wood, without any coffee treatment.

Enjoy your coffee or tea every morning in an authentic Scandinavian wooden cup, also known as a kuksa. This term comes from the Sami people, the original creators of the kuksa, an indigenous community of the Far North. 🇫🇮

Highly prized in Scandinavia, kuksa is a magnificent example of Nordic craftsmanship. This authentic kuksa has been meticulously hand-carved by a Finnish craftsman, using the noble part of the birch tree: birch burl. 🪵

This wooden mug is environmentally friendly and has been made with respect for Sami traditions. 🌿
