The Kukka kuksa is a rawer and more rustic version of our other wooden cups. Hand-carved in Finnish Lapland, it is made from solid birch wood, featuring more direct and less delicate lines than birch burl kuksas.
Each cup is unique with a capacity of approximately 20 cl (varying according to the wood). Its natural and traditional saltwater and coffee treatment gives it a natural brown tint while strengthening it for daily use.
Stripped of any artifice, it features a two-hole handle and a reindeer leather strap to take it anywhere. This is the simplest cup in our collection: a robust and uncompromising object, born for adventure.

The cup may have experienced temperature changes during shipping. Let it return to room temperature before pouring in hot liquids. For extra care, rinse it with lukewarm (not hot) water before use.

Yes! If you want a cup that wasn't soaked in coffee during its manufacturing process, just ask us — we have some models without coffee, for example the kuksa Kuukkeli.

We recommend washing your cup before using it. To wash it, use lukewarm, not hot, water and a natural soap free from chemicals. Once washed, dry it immediately with a tea towel; do not let it air dry, as the wood will absorb all the water.

To keep this cup in good condition, with a beautiful color and a nice shine, you should care for it with oil (we recommend grapeseed oil) or with a protective wax. You can buy grapeseed oil in our shop, as well as the protective wax that we make ourselves.

This cup can be used to enjoy hot or cold drinks. The wood naturally helps retain the warmth or coolness of your drink. It’s lightweight, so it’s perfect for outdoor outings.

No! None of our wooden products are microwave-safe. Microwave heat will damage the wood and cause it to crack.
