Drying your wooden crockery

Drying your wooden crockery properly reduces the risk of cracking, warping, staining or mildew.

  • Immediately after washing your dishes, dry them with a dry cloth.
  • Wooden crockery should never be left to dry on the sink drainer, as the wood will absorb all the water!

Storing wooden crockery

  • Store your wooden crockery in a dry, well-ventilated place.
  • Store away from damp or hot areas.
  • Do not store near a sink, window, oven, hob or kettle.
  • To avoid scratching your crockery, use hooks and drawer dividers, and don't mix your wooden crockery with your other objects.
